The Lucayos Property Owners Association (LPOA) is a community owned organisation which owns and manages the common area in the Lucayos Sub-Division on Elbow Cay, in the Abacos. It operates for the community to ensure the development and maintenance of this beautiful place serves everyone who owns lands within it.
There are Annual General Meetings held around January each year. Each year a Board is elected. In 2025-2026, the Board includes Alexandra Boyd, Don Dagenius, Chris Higgs, Justin Higgs and Ingrid Elliott.
If you purchase land within the Lucayos Sub-Division then you automatically become a member of the LPOA. You are bound by the LPOA Design Guidelines when you build and as you maintain or renovate your property, as part of the legal covenants on your title. You must submit any plans for approval to the Design Board.
Each year annual fees are due by all of us to pay for maintenance of the road, which gives us all smooth access to our homes, and for the common areas including the day dock and waterfront. When you purchase, please make sure the seller is up to date with their dues, as these go with the title.
